Oranmore Dental Care was established at 1 Cloonarkin Drive in 1994. In 1999, Maeve O'Toole joined the practice and took it over in 2011, from its previous owners, Paul McCabe and Lorna Daly.
Originally from Leenane, Maeve has worked at Oranmore Dental Care since 1999. She graduated with an honours degree from Trinity College Dublin in 1996. After graduation, she worked in general practice in Woolwich, London for two years and returned to Ireland in 1999. In 2001, she completed a postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, London. Since then, to keep abreast with current thinking and new techniques, she has continued to attend education courses, at home and abroad, for at least five days per year. Maeve is a member of the Irish Dental Association and the Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care. She is married to John and they have four children.
Peter graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2012. After graduation he worked in general practice in Bray before joining our practice in 2015. Peter has a particular interest in Aesthetic and Endodontic dentistry and has regularly attended postgraduate courses in both with the Eastman Dental Institute in London. Outside of Dentistry, Peter is a keen runner and is currently training for a Half Marathon.
Lilly graduated from University Collage Cork, with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2015. Previously qualified as a Dental Nurse from Athlone Institute of technology in 2011, and also completed a Certificate in Dental Radiography. She has also completed a Degree in Oral Health Promotion also received from Athlone Institute of technology, which she demonstrates during her Oral Hygiene instruction. Lilly is registered with the Dental Council and the Irish Dental Hygiene Association. In her spare time, she plays football with Annaghdown and basketball with Claregalway.
The familiar, friendly face to customers who have been attending 1 Cloonarkin Drive for many years, Lucy has worked here since the practice was established in 1994. She is a fully qualified dental nurse and has worked in both the health board and private practice.
Mags has worked with us since 2012. She is a fully qualified dental nurse and has worked in both the health board and private practice. She achieved her certificate in dental nursing in 2009.
